Дискурсні передумови неадекватного розуміння пропозиційного змісту

Abstract

У статті досліджено інтерпретаційні відхилення в англомовному дискурсі. Автор аналізує причини непорозуміння пропозиційного змісту, зумовлені дискурсно-релевантними чинниками, а саме: формою дискурсу, змісто¬вою організацією та супутніми лінгвокогнітивними чинниками. Розглянуто різні випадки непорозуміння про¬позиційного змісту, пов’язані з якісним та кількісним відтворенням цього смислового елемента в ментальній реальності інтерпретатора, і здійснено спробу типології таких випадків. The article deals with interpretational deviations in the English discourse. The complex analysis based on the integration-constructive model laid the foundations for the research of misunderstanding as interpretation type viewed as the interpretant’s composition (mental projecting) of various content layers of discourse. The author investigates reasons for propositional misunderstanding caused by discourse relevant factors, in particular – discourse form and its content (meaning) organization. She also traces back the attending linguo-cognitive peculiarities affecting the interpretation process, its effectiveness and ultimate result. Based on the English fiction, different misunderstanding cases of propositional meaning involving its qualitative and quantitative manifestation in the interpretant’s mental representation have been analyzed. Summing up, the author makes an attempt to typologize the cases of propositional misunderstanding from the perspective of direct causality.
