Епоніми в термінології фізичної і медичної реабілітації (на матеріалі французької та української мов)

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано епоніми в термінології фізичної і медичної реабілітації французької та української мов. Актуальність теми зумовлюється спрямуванням сучасних лінгвістичних досліджень до вивчення термі¬носистем окремих галузей знань, оскільки терміни відіграють ключову роль у розвитку мови науки, а епоніми фіксують етапи її становлення та акцентують увагу на вченому, котрий зробив певне відкриття. Завдання роботи передбачають відбір епонімів зі спеціалізованих тлумачних словників, опис їх лексико-семантичних особливостей та узагальнення норм перекладу. Новизна дослідження полягає в тому, що терміносистема реабілітації не є широко представленою у наукових працях, а матеріал для роботи зібраний із найсучасніших лексикографічних праць. Результати проведеного аналізу засвідчують, що епоніми широко застосовуються в терміносистемі реабілітації, відображають розвиток її методів, відкриття та опис певних захворювань чи синдромів, розроблення приладів та апаратів, укладання різноманітних шкал, класифікацій, коефіцієнтів, індексів і тестів. Відкритими залишаються питання щодо синонімії епонімічних термінів, пошук варіанта пе¬рекладу, котрий би оптимально передавав суть поняття. Укладання спеціалізованих перекладних французько-українських та українсько-французьких словників, котрі б максимально повно відображали потреби користувачів, зали¬шається го-ловним завданням. The article deals with the analysis of eponyms in terminology of physical and medical rehabilitation in Ukrainian and French languages. Topicality of the study is due to the fact that current researches in linguistics are aimed at the study of terminologies that refer to certain branches of knowledge, as terms play a leading role in the development of language of science and eponyms record the stages of its formation and accentuate the attention on the scientist to whom the development belongs. Objectives of the study involve the selection of eponyms from specialized explanatory dictionaries, the outline of their lexico-semantic features and the generalization of translation norms. Novelty of the research is that firstly rehabilitation term system isnʼt widely presented in scientific works and secondly the terms under investigation have been selected from the latest lexicographic works. The outcomes of the study demonstrate that eponyms are widely used in rehabilitation term system, they show the development of its methods, the discovery and description of certain diseases or syndromes, the design of devices and apparatuses, drawing up of different scales, classifications, indexes and tests. The issues concerning synonymy of eponymic terms, the search for translation variant to convey the essence of the concept have to be attended to. The priority is to compile specialized french-ukrainian and ukrainian-french dictionaries to meet the needs of those who use them.
