Термінологія тенісу як системно-структурне утворення

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано термінологію тенісу як систему назв, понять, що функціонують у сфері спорту. Термінологію як стихійно складену сукупність термінів визначено джерелом для свідомого формування терміносистеми. У рамках дослідження спортивної термінології сфери тенісу розглянуто термінополе як сферу існування терміна, в межах якої він володіє всіма характерними для нього ознаками. У термінологічному полі тенісу виокремлено такі мікрополя, як tennis technology, tennis strategy та competition, до яких належать тематичні поля. Термінологічне поле розглядається як ієрархічно упорядкована структура, у якій є чіткий зв’язок між терміноелементами на основі їхніх дефініцій. Аналіз смислових зв’язків між одиницями терміносистеми засвідчив, що терміни всередині терміносистеми пов’язані спільними тематичними поняттями на основі родо-видових зв’язків. Відношення між поняттями, що забезпечують системність термінології, поділено на логічні та онтологічні. Логічні відношення подібності ґрунтуються на внутрішніх семантичних зв’язках між окремими властивостями та якостями. Такі відношення між поняттями названо ієрархічними. Онтологічні відношення охоплюють також зв’язки суміжності у просторі і часі та кореляції типу «матеріал – продукт». The article analyzes tennis terminology as the system of names, notions that function in the sphere of sport. Terminology known as the set of terms naturally formed has been defined as the source of terms system that in its turn is arranged consciously. Within the study of tennis terminology, the attention has been given to the term field. It has been defined as the sphere where the term units exist and enjoy all their characteristic features. Within the tennis term field there have been singled out the microfields. They are as follows: tennis technology, tennis strategy and competition, with ensuing theme fields. Term field is defined as the hierarchical structure, in which there is the strict relation between the terms based on their definitions. The analysis of content relations between the terms in the system has proved that terms within the term system are connected with common theme concepts based on hierarchical relations. The concept relations responsible for terminology systemacy are devided into logical and ontological. Logical similarity relations are based on inner semantic ties between individual features and qualities. They are called hierarchical relations. Ontological relations refer to time and space relations and correlations such as “material-product”.
