| Abstract: | У статті висвітлено діяльність представників польських громадських і наукових кіл 1800–1850-х рр. (Ю. Кра-шевського, Ф. Собєщанського й ін.) щодо опису та вивчення давніх світських і культових споруд Волині, Холмщини й Підляшшя. Розкрито внесок у дослідження архітектурних старожитностей регіону Польської спеціальної експедиції («Делегації…») під керівництвом К. Стрончинського.Contribution of the Polish Scholars of the 1800-1850-s into the Studies of the Architectural Artifacts and Monuments of Volyn, Kholmshchyna and Pidliashshia. The article deals with the activities of a number of Polish public and scientific circles whose representatives studied and described ancient circular and cult buildings of Volyn, Kholmshchyna and Pidliashshia in the 1800-1850-s. A special attention was paid to the contribution of Y. Krashevsky into the preservation of the architectural artifacts of the region by drawing sketches and collecting pictures and paintings. |
