Огляд матеріалів вітчизняних конференцій та семінарів з теорії і практики перекладу

Abstract

У статті проведено огляд вітчизняних конференцій та семінарів, присвячених проблемам теорії і практики перекладу художньої, науково-технічної літератури, зокрема показано можливості швидкого обміну досвідом, на¬вчальними матеріалами під час проведення засідань щомісячного семінару з цієї тематики, який проводиться у Львівському державному університеті безпеки життєдіяльності. Виявлено, що останнім часом дедалі більше конференцій і семінарів стосуються проблем науково-технічного перекладу. Матеріалом дослідження слугували веб-сторінки присвячених згаданій вище тематиці конференцій і семінарів тринадцяти вищих навчальних закладів України. The article provides overview of Ukrainian conferences, seminars on issues of theory and practice of literary, scientific and technical translation, outlines the possibilities of quick exchange of experience and study materials during monthly seminar sessions on the mentioned above seminar which is held at Lviv State University of Life Safety. Nowadays more and more conferences appears to deal with issues of scientific and technical translation. The research was aimed at analysis of web sites and seminars of thirteen higher educational establishments of Ukraine which concern the stated above field of linguistic studies. The advantages of conducting video- and audioconferencing with the help of webinars and Skype software, which substantially broadens audience of participants and provides an opportunity to invite guest speakers, scholars and participants from any location either in Ukraine or abroad, have been listed.
