Урбаністичний простір у «губернаторській» мемуаристиці Волині першої половини ХІХ століття

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано художнє відображення та роль урбаністичного простору в «губернаторській» мемуаристиці Волині доби романтизму. Узагальнено предметно-тематичні домінанти, функції топосу гу¬берн-ського центру, реалізованого в російськомовній мемуаристиці, окреслено, що в мемуаристів-посадовців проб-ле¬матика волинського урбаністичного простору становить контамінацію польської, української, єврейської та російської культур. The display and the role of urban area in “governor’s” memoirs of Volhynia romantic period are explored in the article. Generalized the subject-themed dominant, functions of Zhytomyr’s topos, implemented in the Russian memoirs of Volhynia, outlined that problematic of urban space by memoirists-officials in Volyn is the contamination of Polish, Ukrainian, Jewish and Russian cultures. Based on the studied texts the conclusion is made that the world of urban space in the memoir’s discourse of the Romantic era is discrete. Zhytomyr is a dangerous and illogical space in the perception of the tsar’s officials, and the city is an image and phenomenon that exists in the aggregate of material attributes and objects, cultural and social environment, which directly affect the author. The urban space in the «governor’s» memoirs are characterised by the controversial and harmonious loci of the landscape depending on the objective and subjective conditions which are revealed in the article.
