Назви пряжі фабричного виробництва в українській мові

Abstract

У статті на основі фактичного матеріалу, виявленого в різних джерелах – писемних пам’ятках, говірках, історичних та сучасних лексикографічних працях, етнографічних описах, творах класиків української літера­тури, – досліджено номінацію пряжі промислового виробництва в українській мові, визначено семантичні та структурно-морфологічні особливості таких лексем, як: біль, гарус, волічка, заполоч, бомбак тощо. У ході дослідження подано історичний коментар формування ткацької термінології, прослідковано етимологію (лексеми біль, волічка, заполоч – праслов’янського походження; гарус, бомбак – запозичення з інших мов), першу писемну фіксацію та проведено системний аналіз досліджуваних слів на синхронічному та діахро­нічно­му зрізах. Дослідження виконано на східнослов’янському мовному тлі, що дало можливість глибше про­никнути в проблему й зробити ймовірні висновки. The article deals with the research of the nomination of the manufactured yarn in the Ukrainian language, the semantic and structural-morphological peculiarities of lexical units such as pain, garus, volichka, zapoloch, bombak and otherson the basis of the facts, found in different sources - written monuments, dialects, historical and modern lexicographical works, ethnographic descriptions, the classics of Ukrainian literature. The research resulted in the historical commentary of the weaving terminology formation, the etymology of some lexical units has been studied (pain, volichka, zapoloch are of Proto-Slavic origin; garus, bombak are the borrowings from other languages​​), the first written record and the systematic analysis of the studied words on the synchronous and diachronic levels have been carried out. The research has been performed on the East-Slavic linguistic background, which enabled making deeper insight into the problem and drawing the plausible conclusions.
