ФАКТОРНА СТРУКТУРА ЕМОЦІЙНО-ОЦІННИХ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИК Я-КОНЦЕПЦІЇ СТУДЕНТІВ ІЗ ВИСОКИМ РІВНЕМ ОСОБИСТІСНОЇ БЕЗПОРАДНОСТІ

Abstract

У статті розглянуто емоційно-оцінні характеристики Я-концепції студентів із високим рівнем сформованої особистісної безпорадності. Окреслено ознаки психологічного феномену набутої (завченої, прищепленої) безпорадності, яка внаслідок генералізації на інші сфери діяльності проявляється на особистісному рівні як інтегральна особистісна властивість і регулює поведінку, сприйняття, ставлення до дійсності, проявляючись у життєдіяльності суб’єкта пасивністю поведінки, нездатністю використовувати наявні можливості бажаного перетворення ситуації, труднощами у відносинах із навколишніми тощо. Розглянуто Я-концепцію як складну, багаторівневу й багатокомпонентну систему вираження стосунків особистості із собою та із зовнішнім світом; акцентовано увагу на процесуально-динамічних характеристиках цього цілісного психологічного утворення, із яким узгоджуються почуття й емоції, вчинки та поведінка, дії й очікування суб’єкта. Наголошено на можливих суперечностях між окремими модальностями Я-образу, які руйнують їхню відносну стійкість, упорядкованість і збалансованість взаємодії, зумовлюючи «розмитість», «нечіткість», дезінтегрованість Я-концепції в осіб із високим рівнем особистісної безпорадності.

Застосовано метод факторного аналізу для виявлення факторної структури емоційно-оцінних характеристик Я-концепції студентів із високим рівнем особистісної безпорадності, емпіричними референтами якої визначено симптомокоплекс діагностичних показників (низький рівень суб’єктивного контролю (екстернальність), песимістичний атрибутивний стиль, самооцінка власних емоційних станів із позиції втоми, підвищеної тривожності, пригніченості та безнадії, низький рівень домагань (переважання мотиву уникнення невдач над мотивом прагнення до успіху). Установлено, що особам із високим рівнем безпорадності властиві такі інтегральні психологічні характеристики, як емоційний дисонанс, виражена деструктивність самоконтролю, реактивна агресивність, низька самоцінність, ригідність Я-концепції й інертність процесів і механізмів саморозвитку, що дає змогу розглядати безпорадність як дестабілізаційний чинник у побудові гармонійної Я-концепції особистості.

The article is devoted to the study of emotional and evaluative characteristics of the I-concept of students with a high level of formed personal helplessness. We have outlined the features of the psychological phenomenon of acquired (studied, habituated) helplessness, which as a result of generalization to other areas of activity manifests itself at the personal level as an integral personality feature and regulates behavior, perception, attitude to reality, manifested in the subject’s activity of passivity of behavior, inability to use existing opportunities the desired transformation of the situation, the difficulties in interacting with others, etc. It is considered the I-concept as a complex, multi-level and multi-component system of expression of a person’s relationship with himself and with the outside world. The attention in paid to procedural and dynamic characteristics of the whole psychological formations with which the feelings and emotions, actions and behavior, acts and expectations of the subject are reconciled. It is stressed possible contradictions between the individual modalities of the I-image, which destroy their relative stability, orderliness and balance of interaction, causing «blurriness», «fuzziness», disintegration of the I-concept in people with a high level of personal helplessness.

The method of factor analysis was used to reveal the factor structure of the emotional and evaluative characteristics of the I-concept of students with a high level of personal helplessness, whose empirical referents are characterized by a symptom-complex of diagnostic indicators (low level of subjective control (externality), pessimistic attributive style, self-esteem of their own emotional states from the standpoint fatigue, increased anxiety, depression and hopelessness, low levels of aspiration (predominance of the motive for avoiding failures over the motive of desire to success).

It has been established that those with a high level of helplessness are characterized by such integral psychological characteristics as emotional dissonance, expressed destructiveness of self-control, reactive aggressiveness, low self-value, rigidity of the I-concept and inertia of processes and mechanisms of self-development, which makes it possible to consider helplessness as a destabilizing factor in the construction of harmonic I-concepts of personality.
