У статті наголошується, що проблеми виховання морально-естетичного ідеалу студентської молоді набувають сьогодні особливої актуальності саме тому, що в умовах панування політичних змін та ринкових відносин значно змінились моральні та естетичні ідеали людини в суспільстві. Головною умовою становлення особистості є орієнтація на духовні цінності, фундаментальними серед яких є Істина, Добро і Краса. Саме їх гармонійна триєдність, взаємодоповненість мають бути пріоритетними у виборі людського шляху, взірцем, ідеальним зразком думки, дійства, поведінки і вчинків сучасної студентської молоді. Морально-естетичні ідеали визначають спрямованість особистості, її світовідношення, світоглядні позиції, ціннісно-смислову сферу, поведінку та вчинки.
