| Abstract: | У статті розглядаються складні слова (100 одиниць) англійської мови з компонентом way. Корінь way є надзвичайно продуктивним для творення складних іменників, прикметників та прислівників, у складі яких він реалізує п’ять своїх значень. Semantic-nominative potential of the root way in English compounds. The article deals with English compounds (100 units) with the component way. The root way is very productive in creation of nouns, adjectives and adverbs. It has 5 main meanings, which are realized in the compounds. |
