| Abstract: | Розглядаються роль та місце напівафіксів, афіксів та компонентів складних слів у сучасній англійській мові. Встановлюються особливості досліджуваних одиниць шляхом визначення їх статусу. Визначаються критерії розмежування напівафіксів від компонентів складних слів та від афіксів. The article deals with the role and place of semi-affix, affix and components of compound words in modern English. The features of its elements are set by determination of their status. The authors determine the criteria of delimitation semi-affixes from the components of compound words and affixes. |
