Феномен толерантності в соціально-філософських інтерпретаціях

Abstract

У статті здійснено аналіз основних підходів до вивчення проблеми трактування поняття «толерантність» у гуманітарних науках. Стверджується, що кожен історично-конкретний тип суспільства передбачає свої уявлення про толерантність. Оскільки концептуальні основи теорії толерантності впродовж тривалого часу розробляло багато науковців із різних галузей знань, то багатоманітність терміна «толерантність» пов’язана з різними міждисциплінарними підходами. Філософський аспект пропонує розглядати толерантність як терпимість, витримку, примирення. Політичний контекст акцентує увагу на повазі до свободи іншої людини, її поглядів, думок, поведінки. Соціологія трактує толерантність як милостивість, делікатність, прихильність до інших. Визначено, що поява та вживання поняття «толерантність» зумовлені його правовим, соціально-політичним і моральним характером, а толерантність як суспільний феномен визначає соціокультурний рівень міжособистісної взаємодії в суспільстві. The article is devoted to the analysis of the interpretation of the concept of tolerance in the related social and philosophicalsciences. Tolerance is interpreted in various ways in different sciences. To specify a scientific vision of the problem, the main approaches to its study in related socialsciences are analyzed, namely: political, psychological and social. It is establishedthat, in the modern scientific literature, there are four main methodologicalapproaches to understanding the important socio-philosophical aspects of tolerance: axiological, ideally typical, ontologo-historical and conflicting. Reviewsof foreign and domestic works on tolerance demonstrate that it is not possible togive tolerance a clear definition, and especially to reduce it to one prerequisite. Thesubject of the problem of tolerance in our work is represented by its research, which includes ontological, epistemological, axiological and ethical aspects. The dispositions considered by us suggest that in the complex of humanitarianknowledge different views have been formed regarding the interpretation of the concept of tolerance and possible ways of understanding it. It was established that the new theory of tolerance needed by modern society should be based on the pluralism of paradigms.
