ФУНКЦІЙНЕ ПРИЗНАЧЕННЯ ДОЗВІЛЛЄВОЇ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ МОЛОДШИХ ШКОЛЯРІВ

Abstract

У статті аналізуються підходи вчених до визначення функцій дозвіллєвої діяльності, на основі яких виокремлено та обґрунтовано функції дозвіллєвої діяльності молодших школярів. Дозвілля молодших школярів охарактеризовано як діяльність дитини у вільний час, яка обрана за власними інтересами і нахилами, приносить їй моральне задоволення і, в якій вона може проявити себе як особистість – суб’єкт цієї діяльності. На основі аналізу сутності, основних ознак та психологічних характеристик дозвіллєвої діяльності та враховуючи вікові особливості учнів молодшого шкільного віку, визначено, ієрархічно представлено та обґрунтовано наступні функції дозвіллєвої діяльності молодших школярів: рекреаційну, гедоністичну, емоційно та духовно збагачувальну, творчу, виховну, пізнавально-розвивальну (самопізнання та самореалізація), ціннісно-орієнтаційну, комунікативну, соціальну, компенсаторно-психотерапевтичну. The present article analyzes scholars’ approaches in defining functions of leisure-time activity, on which basis the functions of primary schoolchildren’s leisure-time activity were distinguished and justified. Primary schoolchildren’s leisure has been characterized as an activity of a child in their free time, chosen according to personal interests and dispositions. It gives them moral satisfaction and the opportunity to approve themselves as individuals – the subjects of this activity. On the base of the analysis of the nature, main features and psychological characteristic of leisure-time activity and taking into account the peculiarities of primary schoolchildren, next functions of primary schoolchildren’s leisure-time activity has been defined, hierarchically presented and justified:  recreational – directed to child’s relaxation, tiredness and mental stress relief, restoration of physical, intellectual, emotional strength, health promotion by performing gaming, sanative, entertaining, sport and tourism programmes, sightseeing tours, etc.;  hedonistic (entertaining) – directed on getting the feeling of satisfaction and child’s emotional elevation;  emotionally and spiritually enriching – directed on satisfying various emotions of a primary schoolchildren and enriching theirs spiritual needs;  cognitive-developmental (self-cognition and self-realization) – directed on children’s self-improvement, self-education and spiritual enrichment;  value-oriented – directed on providing intensive development of child’s values and value orientations;  creative – directed on discovering and development of primary schoolchildren’s creative potential and self-improvement besides out-of-home activity through their participation in exhibition, various clubs, hobby-oriented groups, etc.;  educational – directed on purposeful development of primary schoolchildren’s individual potentials (cognitive, value-oriented, creative, communicative);  communicative – directed on improvement of communication abilities, overcoming loneliness, finding new friends, etc.;  social – directed on child’s integration and self-identification with certain community;  compensatory-psychotherapeutic - directed on child’s self-affirmation in different kinds and compensation of unsatisfied emotions and needs.
