Abstract: Статтю присвячено дослідженню феномену релігійного стереотипу в контексті повсякденності. Як компонент релігійної свідомості стереотип відіграє важливу роль у формуванні ставлення людини до навколишнього світу, інших людей, спільнот. Релігійний стереотип упливає на усвідомлення індивідом належності до релігійної спільноти, перетворює суб’єктивне сприйняття релігії на імператив для всіх членів спільноти.
The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of religious stereotype in the context of everyday life. As a component of religious consciousness the stereotype plays an important role in shaping the relations of man to the surrounding world, other people, communities. Religious stereotype affects the individual's awareness of belonging to a religious community, transforming the subjective perception of religion on imperative for all members of the community. In the process of human assimilation of religious elements, picture of the world in which the principal place is the religion is formed. As a result of the doubling of the world there is a certain attitude to the supernatural, resulting in a sacred world becomes a practical value. The religious stereotype - standardized stable formation, an image that has simplified and generalized form, emotional stress, constantly implemented in thought, rituals, behavior, gestures, facial expressions, language, representatives of a religious community. Religious stereotypes arise and are fixed as a result of the judgments that are formed during the co-existence in a religious environment. In the evolution of society religious stereotypes can emerge, evolve, disappear. Stereotypes are not formed on the basis of their own experience, but taken in the socialization process and created by the media. Often the formation of religious stereotyping occurs unbeknownst to the individual, so they are approved as sustainable standards that dominate the human consciousness. The information contained in the stereotype, is mostly extract only those features of an event, phenomenon or human that relate to the acquired experience and important for the stable development and functioning of society. The emergence of stereotypes associated with the inherent tendencies of mind – a specification, commitment to the Association of abstract concepts with any specific images and simplification, i.e. selection of one or more common features as fundamental to refer to complex phenomena. On the formation of stereotype affect emotional and meaningful accents occurring in the perception of people, communities, processes, phenomena, or information about them. Stereotypes help to master a certain amount of knowledge and understanding of the world, learn a system of benchmarks and skills that are necessary for each member of the society or community. Feature of stereotypes is a possession of the subconscious of the individual and society as a whole.
