Наголошено на ієрархічних стосунках аналізованих синтаксичних одиниць, зокрема виділено речення як центральну предикативну багатовимірну одиницю мовлення й засіб реалізації двох найважливіших функцій мови – комунікативної та когнітивної. Друге місце надано мінімальним синтаксичним одиницям, що перебувають у певних формально-синтаксичних зв’язках і семантико-синтаксичних відношеннях між собою, структурують елементарні та неелементарні речення, а також можуть функціонувати в межах словосполучень. Статус абсолютної периферії отримало словосполучення, яке, слугуючи лише засобом називання, самостійно не виконує комунікативної функції, позбавлене ознаки предикативності, входить до складу тільки неелементарних конструкцій, а отже позначене вторинністю. The article focuses on two syntactic units, namely sentences and phrases and also analyses a word as a component that structures sentences and phrases. The author emphasies their various interpretation due to dissimilar principles of analysis. The hierarchical relationship of the syntactic units under consideration are stressed, in particular the sentence is defined as the main predicative unit and the means of performing two essential functions of the language – communicative and cognitive ones. The next place according to the priority is assigned to minimal syntactic units which exist in certain formal syntactic links and semantic relationships between themselves. They structure sentences and can function within the phrases. The status of the absolute periphery belongs to the phrase which serves only as a means of naming, doesn’t perform a communicative function idependently, lacks prediction and thus is of the secondary importance. The article analyses specific features of L. Е. Venglinskii’s syntax on the basis of polish texts. By virtue of his poetry we can observe the most typical to polish language peculiarities of the ukrainian-polish frontier, that are considered to be the result of the Ukrainian language influence. Onomatopoeic words expressing general ideas, have a constant sound structure and the structure, which is understood by all carriers of a particular language, form a basis to create new words, should be the object of study. On an example novelistic 60 s. ХХ century was discovered stylistic potential of such groups onomatopoeic words: onomatopoeia, which are associated with the man and his actions: transmission features of laughter; transmission features a whistle; transfer of physical condition; transmission emotional state; onomatopoeia associated with handling human to nature; onomatopoeia related to actions with everyday objects; onomatopoeia, transmitting the sound effect of human actions; onomatopoeia votes birds; onomatopoeia of the sounds produced by insects; onomatopoeia animal noises (wolf, hedgehog, goat); onomatopoeia arachnids (to a certain extent associative sound association). Found a powerful stylistic potential onomatopoeia transmitting sound effects sound effects due to work with tools: sound effect from the fall; sound effect from eating animals; sound effect of the environment, natural phenomenon; mimicry mechanisms. The functional-grammatical and semantic specificity of sentence constructions with gradable adverbialized verbal analytical syntactic transposyts are investigated integral, particular: transpositional and modificational parentage of adverbialized verbal analytical syntactic formations are detected. The formal-syntactic structure of two-part and one-part sentence constructions with adverbialized verbal analytical syntactic transposyts in comparative and superlative degrees is outlined.
